Position Summary 

This position is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties, performing and coordinating office administrative duties, and storing, retrieving, and integrating information for the support to our CEO.
 

Essential Functions 
 

  • Manage incoming correspondence, including telephone call screening; mail sorting and possible email prioritizing would be performed by this position.
  • Clerical support to CEO (Organize and maintain paper and electronic files)
  • Dictaphone transcription from CEO
  • Travel arrangements for the sales department (both Domestic and international flights and hotels, transportation) incl. itinerary coordination and planning
  • Contact management in Outlook and CRM database (currently SalesForce)
  • Planning and scheduling internal meetings, conference calls, web based presentations
  • Monitoring CEO’s email traffic and follow-up accordingly
  • Follow up on trade show participation by sales department (mailings, databank updates, etc.) 
  • Run various weekly reports for CEO and follow up on resulting required updates by various staff members
  • Create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, manage databases, and occasionally create presentations, statistical reports, and documents as assigned.
  • Update PowerPoint presentations with new text, photos (as directed by sales staff)
  • Control deadlines of projects assigned by CEO to various staff
  • Special event planning and coordinating.
  • Coordinate employee training and seminars.

  • Draft of newsletter articles
  • Backup support for receptionist on telephone overflow.
  • Support Marketing Communications (Arrange regional trade show participation (required posters, handouts, hotel booking, booth reservation, display stands, etc.)

  • On a regular and continuous basis, this position will exercise administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area. It is important for this position to use discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and be able to work independently.  Personal tasks will be assigned on a routine basis as part of the regular job duties.

Qualifications 

Five years of related experience supporting Executive level management. High School Degree with some additional college level courses required.  A combination of education/experience may be substituted with education being substituted for by experience on a two for one-year basis.

  • Must have the ability to organize and communicate effectively with executive management and employees.
  • Must have exceptional clerical perception to proofread typing with typing skills of 80+ words per minute.
  • Must be adept with using Dictaphone and taking dictation.
  • Excellent computer knowledge of various software applications to perform functions is required, including, Excel,   PowerPoint, Word, Sales Force, Adobe Acrobat

Job Title:  Mechanical Draftsperson II

Position Summary
 

Working under the direct supervision of the design engineer, the draftsperson utilizes their knowledge of mechanical systems and develops, using Solid Works and AutoCAD LT tools, detailed drawings and assemblies for the fabrication of the Company’s products. In addition, prepares detail and assembly drawings and documentation that are used for quotation submission.

Essential Functions

  • With supervision of the Sr. Design Engineer, prepares and direct preparation of detail drawings and mechanical specifications for all products.
  • Under the supervision of the Sr. Design Engineer prepares drawings and documentation to assist in quotation submission and sales presentations
  • Assist in product document and maintenance of bills of materials for products.
  • Prepares detail documentation for engineering change orders.
  • Assists in the preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation for individual customer orders based on specific job requirements.
  • Identify, qualify and interface with outsourced manufacturing shops and equipment vendors.
  • Prepare detail drawings of improvements in products under the direction of the senior design engineer.
  • Prepare conceptual drawings for sales and marketing purposes.

 

Qualifications

  • Fully functional working knowledge of Solid Works 2010 or later and the ability to interface spreadsheet (Excel) design and configuration specifications into Solid Works documentation.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD LT computer design program.
  • Experience with preparation of detailed drawings and documentation of static structures and moving assemblies.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience designing similar mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with design of structural steel weldments and incorporation into assemblies.
  • Knowledge of welding procedures for ferrous and alloy steels a plus.
  • Ability to interact with vendors and shop floor manufacturing personnel to assist manufacturing process.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Attitude:   Ability to work in a high energy environment with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Knowledge:  High general mechanical aptitude, with creative ability to overcome both design and scheduling challenges.

  • Create full fabrication drawing set for MS1 model units, complete with BOM.
  • Create General Arrangement drawings for typical/simple installations which may contain two different product lines.

Job Title:  Regional Sales Manager
Territory:  Western United States & Canada

Position Summary 

Responsible for maintaining current municipal business and developing new business opportunities for Headworks International in western United States and corresponding part of Canada.  Direct, manage, coordinate, and execute Sales and Marketing activities with internal sales personnel and external Manufacturers Representatives. Participate in the evaluation and integration of new products. Work closely with marketing personnel to develop sales and marketing tools. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing and accounting functions to capitalize on sale returns and provide proficient customer service. Reports to the Director of Sales for North America.  

Essential Functions 
 

  • Manage a schedule rich in direct interaction with current and potential clients
  • Identify key stakeholders and schedule field visits to discuss product offering
  • Conduct sales calls and perform Technical Sales Presentations to engineers and end users
  • Build relationships with all the key stakeholders in the wastewater industry
  • Diligently follow-up with the clients until an award or signed contract is completed
  • Convert potential projects into proposals/preferential specifications according to priorities
  • Recruit and train Manufacturers Representatives, ensure they are knowledgeable about product offering and understand effective sales techniques to increase sales and profitability
  • Increase visibility and awareness of Headworks International in the assigned territory through attending relevant tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences
  • Consult with the Sr. Management regarding sales policies, product revisions, and pricing changes
  • Keep Senior Management abreast of market changes and new sales leads through reports and frequent communication
  • Plan/maintain accurate records of travel, meetings, telephone calls, proposals, and sales
  • Assist in the development of corporate sales plans, forecasts, and marketing plans
  • Must have a clear understanding of products, services, and capabilities of Headworks International
  • Must have an understanding of the wastewater industry in the assigned territory: its stakeholders, major players, and business climate

  • First 60 Days: Develop a strategy to manage existing activities and new business development. Review with Senior Vice President to ensure the strategy is in line with the company's overall strategy. Understand the process of reviewing projects and quoting basic equipment. Shadow other Sales Managers to learn best practices and sales culture.
  • First 90 to 180 Days: Begin implementation of outlined strategies and plans

Qualifications 
 

  • University degree (science/technical preferred)
  • 5+ years of work experience in the water/wastewater industry
  • Wastewater background with in-depth understanding and knowledge of screens and screening handling equipment or biological process knowledge, ie: activated sludge, carousel systems, SBR, RBC, and MBR processes
  • Experience working with Manufacturers Representatives
  • Self-disciplined and possess excellent communication skills
  • Team player committed to working with a team of highly motivated sales personnel
  • Must be an excellent negotiator and closer
  • Sales experience preferred
